Evaluation task 1

Talking about the order of film openings, the order of the title sequence and the normal conventions and how my group has followed or challenged the normal film opening conventions.

Creating the mood of a thriller is an important part of a film opening. This is often done by establishing location and being introduced to the characters.

Our thriller opens and automatically we see the main character, who is presented as a smaller character against the background of the big, tall building. This establishes the location in a city environment, whilst also introducing the main character to stereotypes immediately

When being introduced to the character of Damian, the antagonist, the user can automatically infer that there is something odd with this character, and that he will most likely be the 'evil' character as they cannot see his eyes, and his attire in all black makes him appear menacing.
