Intertextuality Ideas for our Thriller

We have discussed a rough basis for our Thriller movie, and plan to have an Instant Messaging scene in the beginning of the film.

We have researched many films that have these types of scene and plan to use intertextuality from two different films, "Hard Candy" and "Trust".

An opening title for our film could look something alike the end title for the "Trust" trailer, where it is written out in to a word processor, showing the computer orientation

Some aspects of this camera shot may be used in our opening thriller, this intertextuality will be embedded in our thriller because it fits into our opening convention. The instant messaging conveyed in this movie 'Trust' will also be a main aspects to our opening thriller because it creates an instant link between the two people conversing on via the internet. Another camera shot we liked from "Trust" was the Over The Shoulder showing the girl looking at her computer screen.

We also liked the idea from "Hard Candy" where the camera shows a POV shot or a closeup of the screen of either of one of the partificipents in the Instant Messaging conversation, this allows us to see how close they are to eachother, and get to know the characters via their Instant Messaging names, and getting to know the plot.

The last idea we'd like to embedd from another fim is the wall of photos from the film "One Hour Photo" this shows a 'stalkerish' character looking at his possible victims.
